How To Visit Iguazu Falls In Both Argentina And Brazil In One Day (2024)
Iguazu Falls, also spelled Iguassu or Iguaçu Falls, is a magnificent natural wonder located on the border between Brazil and…
I love planning, organizing, and booking vacations. You start with endless possibilities and then, you research, and slowly pick and choose what sounds like the best and most incredible trip for you and your loved ones.
At 57 years old, I have planned A LOT of trips! However, the thrill never ceases!
My children are now 27, 23, 20, and 19 years old and they have been to around 50 countries. When they were little, we traveled anywhere from one to 6 weeks, and had a total travel time from our country to our ultimate destination of up to 30 hours.
Through all this, I had never had one of my four children ever tell me that they had enough and wanted to go home.
How was I so lucky?
I did a lot of research on where we were going, and spent a lot of time thinking about the different needs of each member of my family so that they were as excited about the itinerary that I created as I was.
There is a HUGE difference between flying to an all inclusive beach resort for a week and flying to a country with the intent to explore it over several weeks.
The all inclusive resort will offer all of your meals and activities, and the expectation is you will never leave the resort. Your preparation for the trip requires little more than packing the right clothes and lots of sunscreen.
On the other hand, when you intend to explore a country whether it is solo, with a partner, or with your children, there is a lot of preparation that I think should be done before you leave.
I try to make my itineraries as comprehensive as possible before I take a trip. This includes accommodation, transportation within the country, and day to day tours and activities.
I even contemplate the minuscule details. When should we do a tour or an activity? What means of transportation should we use to get from one point to another? If we are moving from place to place within a country, in what order should we visit them?
Every country or destination is different and poses different challenges that need to be considered before you leave on your trip.
If you are curious about how I do this, please download my Planning Guide. It lays out my step by step process in creating all my itineraries.
I also offer free Travel Guides for those interested in Colomiba, Guatemala, India, Indonesia and Montenegro.
If you are traveling with children, then I’d also recommend reviewing 3 articles that should help you determine what kind of trip and activities your children may be ready for.

Below, you will find some of the itineraries that I have created. I have organized them by length of time – 1-3 days, 4-7 days, 8 – 13 days, and 14+ days – so that you can easily discover itineraries that match with the amount of time that you may have for your next holiday.
Your next unbelievable trip awaits!
